Charleston Area Model Railroad Club

The CAMRC was organized in 1983 to give those interested in model railroading an opportunity to have fun, learn, and share with others. The Club has members who are actively involved in various guages and scales. Members may have special skills and interest in particular aspects of the hobby, such as scenery construction, traction, modeling of engines and rolling stock, building structures, and electronics. Others are new to the hobby and can benefit from the experience and association with the more experienced members.

The Club is open to the public 4 days a week in the Citadel Mall (next to Dillard's) located at 2070 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston SC 29407.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 9 PM
Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 PM

Everyone Welcome!
No charge for admission.

Any and all donations are appreciated. Donations help our club survive and help us continue to spread the word about the model railroading hobby. Thank you for your support!

We sadly announce the passing of Gary Kennedy on October 22nd at 1:20 a.m. Gary lost his ongoing battle with liver cancer. He was 67.

Gary was a dedicated Member of the Charleston Model Railroad Club for almost 3 years. He was responsible for much of the artwork and scenery work on the HO scale layout at the club.

Gary was a good friend to many and will be missed.
